Instead, he remained the same sweet-heart he was in Shatter Me. There was no shaming Adam or suddenly creating him into an awful person (Like it was the case in ACOTAR).

The author actually made a convincing case for why this love triangle is a legitimate thing to exist in the first place. I can’t remember the last time I fell for a villain in a novel, but I cannot stop myself from feeling sympathetic towards Warner. We got to learn their strengths, weaknesses, thoughts, desires, past and the present. Tahereh Mafi took her time to allow the reader to get to know all main characters. And as much as I hated it in ACOTAR (it was so badly written), I was all up for it in Unravel Me. The romance in this novel reminded me a lot of the love triangle in ACOTAR series. Tahereh Mafi writes perfectly imperfect characters that I had no choice but to fall in love with. But then I dived right into Unravel Me and nothing matter anymore, because that book is amazing as it is. I was eager to learn more details about why is the environment the way it is, why are people the way they are, some background to answer all my questions. Going into Unravel Me I wanted to see a little bit more of a world development in comparison to Shatter Me. I’m afraid I don’t know enough words to describe how much I loved this book this series as a whole thus far.
